ಓರ್ಪನೇ ನಿಲುವೆ ನೀನುತ್ಕಟಕ್ಷಣಗಳಲಿ 

ಧರ್ಮ ಸಂಕಟಗಳಲಿ,ಜೀವಸಮರದಲಿ |

ನಿರ್ವಾಣದೀಕ್ಷೆಯಲಿ,ನಿರ್ಣಾಯ ಘಟ್ಟದಲಿ

ನಿರ್ಮಿತ್ರನಿರಲು ಕಲಿ - ಮಂಕುತಿಮ್ಮ ||

Translation :

Alone you stand in crucial situations of Life.

In all dilemmas of Dharma and battles of Life.

In all Sternness activities and at the doorstep of death.

Try to be friendless - Mankutimma

Explanation :

In many difficult situations of life, you'll stand alone...., when you are in a dilemma or when you are in life's battle no one is going to help you out.

You have to struggle hard and you have to succeed without support of anyone.

You must never be dependent on anyone as no one can help you when you are fighting with your Life and at the doorstep of death...

Learn therefore to be friendless and do not depend on any one Mankutimma!!

ಕಣ್ತೆರೆದುನೋಡು ,ಚಿತ್ಸತ್ತ್ಪ  ಮೂರ್ತಿಯ  ನೃತ್ಯ 

ಕಣ್ಮುಚ್ಚಿ  ನೋಡು ,ನಿಶ್ಚಲ  ಶುದ್ದ  ಸತ್ವ |

ಉನ್ಮುಖನು ನೀನೆರಡು ಜಗಮಿರುತಿರಲಾಗಿ 

ಹೃನ್ಮಧ್ಯದಲಿ ಶಾಂತಿ - ಮಂಕುತಿಮ್ಮ ||

Translation :

Open your eyes and see the cosmic dance of knowledge and reality.

Close your eyes to see the absolute purity.

When you live with high notes in both the worlds,

Peace dwells in the center of your Heart - Mankutimma

Explanation :

Come out and explore the world of reality...!! There is nothing greater than knowledge in this world... These things are external....

While internally, you can realize the absolute purity and truth, you must look into your soul to feel them...!!

When you understand these two and live with high spirit in both the worlds ultimate peace resides in your heart - Mankutimma !!

ಜೀವನವೊಂದು  ಕಲೆ ; ಕಲೆಯ ಕಲಿಸುವುದೆಂತು?

ಸಾವಿರ ನಿಯಮ  ಯುಕ್ತಿಗಳನೊರೆದೊಡೆಯುಂ 

ಆವುದೋ  ಕುಶಲತೆಯದೊಂದಿರದೆ ಜಯವಿರದು 

ಆ  ವಿವರ  ನಿನ್ನೊಳಗೆ  - ಮಂಕುತಿಮ್ಮ 

Translation 

Life is an art and how to teach the art!?

Thousands of rules and principles are taught

But you can not win without having a special skill

And that skill is within you - Mankutimma

Explanation :

"Life is an art"., Living is an Art., Making relationship with some one is an art, communicating is an art. But who can teach us the art.!??? Art is not something that can be taught...!! You can teach rules, strategies or tactics to learn an art.... but if you want to ,master over it, you must have a special skill....

That special skill is no where available.... Its just within you.... When you realise this fact, you can be the champion of any art.....!!

ಒಲ್ಲೆನೆನದಿರು ಬಾಳನ್,ಒಲವದೇನೆನ್ನದಿರು  
ಉಲ್ಲಾಸಕೆಡೆಮಾಡು ನಿನ್ನಿ  ನಾದನಿತು |
ನಿಲ್ಲು  ಕೆಚ್ಚೆದೆಯಿಂದಲನ್ಯಾಯಗಳ  ನಳಿಸೆ 

ಎಲ್ಲಕ್ಕಂ ಸಿದ್ದನಿರು  - ಮಂಕುತಿಮ್ಮ ||

Translation :

Do not reject life, Do not question Love

Make room to have delight as much as possible.

Stand firm against injustice & try to eliminate them.

Be prepared for everything - Mankutimma ||

Explanation :

In life we come across so many situation where we get dejected because of so many reasons., but do not reject life. People show love care affection towards you., Never question them WHY!?????

Make room to have cheerfulness and delight as much as possible.

Fight against injustice and try to eliminate evils from society. 

Be prepared to face everything in Life - Mankutimma

ಧರ್ಮವೆಂಬುದದೇನು?ಕರ್ಮವೆಂಬುದದೇನು?

ಬ್ರಹ್ಮಾಂಡ ಕಥೆಯೇನು ?ಜೀವಿತವಿದೇನು? |

ಬ್ರಹ್ಮವೆಲ್ಲಕು ಮೂಲ  ಮಾಯೆ  ತತ್ಕೃತಿ ಜಾಲ

ಬ್ರಹ್ಮವೇ  ಜೀವನವೋ -ಮಂಕುತಿಮ್ಮ  ||

Translation :

What is Dharma!? What is Karma!?

What is the story of Universe and What is Life!?

Bramha is the origin. Illusions are his works.

Life is Bramha - Mankutimma ||

Explanation :

What is Religion and what is Destiny!?

What is the secret behind the creation of this universe by God!???

By asking these questions to ourselves we can realise that the fact,"God is the origin of Everything in Life and illusions are his creations."

But who is God!?? Life  itself is God - Mankutimma

ಅನ್ನದಾತುರಕಿಂತ ಚಿನ್ನದಾತುರ ತೀಕ್ಷ್ಣ

ಚಿನ್ನದಾತುರಕಿಂತ ಹೆಣ್ಣು ಗಂಡೊಲವು  |

ಮನ್ನಣೆಯ ದಾಹವೀಯೆಲ್ಲಕಂ ತೀಕ್ಷ್ಣತಮ 

ತಿನ್ನುವುದದಾತ್ಮವನೆ -ಮಂಕುತಿಮ್ಮ ||

Translation :

Desperation towards gold is more than desperation towards food.

Attraction between the male & female is more than desperation towards gold.

But people are most desperate towards fame.

Which kill their soul - Mankutimma

Explanation :

This world is strange.

People are more eager about wealth and pleasure than food which is the basic need.

But, attraction towards the opposite gender is more stronger than the desperation towards wealth.

People are most desperate towards the "name" &"fame". Just to get popular and to become a social icon,people are killing their souls, breaking their principles & rules - Mankutimma.

I just expirienced it yesterday

ಇಂಗಿತ ಜ್ಞಾನವಿಲ್ಲದ ಬಂಧು ಪರಿವಾರ 

ಹಂಗಿಸುವ ಛಲವುಳ್ಳ ಸತಿ ಪುತ್ರ ಸಖರು |

ಬಂಗಾರದಸಿ ಚುಚ್ಚೆ ಸಿಂಗಾರದ ಬೊಟ್ಟೆನುವ 

ಮಂಗಬುದ್ಧಿಯ ಜನರು - ಮಂಕುತಿಮ್ಮ ||

Translation 

Family having no intent to gain knowledge

Friends,wife and children willing to tease you |

Those who pierce their nose to wear a golden ring

All those are mad - Mankutimma || 

Explanation 

A person having company of people who have no intention to gain knowledge will never see success in his life.
People taunt you when you do not fulfill their wishes.
People get indulged in so many non-sense acts in the name of beauty & attraction.

All these people are useless Mankutimma!!

ಮುಳುಗದಿರು ,ಜೀವನದ ತೆರೆಯ ಮೇಲೀಜುತಿರು

ಒಳಿತನಾಗಿಸು, ಕೊಡುತ ಕೊಳುತ ಸಂತಸವ |

ಕಳವಳಂಬಡದೆ ನಡೆ ಕಡೆಯ ಕರೆ ಬಂದಂದು

ಮಿಳಿತನಿರು ವಿಶ್ವದಲಿ - ಮಂಕುತಿಮ್ಮ ||

Translation
Don’t drown,keep swimming on the waves of life.

Do good deeds,giving and receiving happiness.

Walk away calmly on your last call

Be one with the Universe – Mankutimma.

Explanation

Do not get afraid to the difficulties you face in your life & run away from your duties.Learn the art of managing difficult situations.

Do good to others. Enjoy the happy moments with others.

Death is trivial and when you get your last call, walk away without any agitation.

Mingle with everyone and be a part of this universe – Mankutimma

ವಿಸ್ತಾರದಲಿ ಬಾಳು,ವೈಶಾಲ್ಯದಿಂ  ಬಾಳು

ಕತ್ತಲೆಯ ಮೊಡಕು  ಮೂಲೆಗಳ  ಸೇರದಿರು|

ಭಾಸ್ಕರನನುಗ್ರಹವೇ  ನೂತನ  ಜೀವನ ಸತ್ವ 

ಮೃತ್ಯು  ನಿನಗೆ ಅಲ್ಪತತೆಯೋ  – ಮಂಕುತಿಮ್ಮ  ||

Translation:

Live broad-minded, live elegantly.

Don’t look for dark corners of the room.

The blessing of the Sun is Life’s Satva (power).

Death is trivial – Mankutimma.

Explanation:

Lead your life with broadness of your mind, with broad thoughts. Lead your life elegantly and gloriously.

Do not sit idle in your life. Take initiatives, exploit opportunities and inspire others.

As sun rises every day he gives you the natural power to refresh your life with strong power of faith and enthusiasm.

Death is nothing to you, it is trivial. So, as long as you live, lead your life happily – Mankutimma.

ಇಂದು ಮದುವೆಯ ಹಬ್ಬ,ನಾಳೆ ವೈಕುಂಠ ತಿಥಿ,

ಇಂದು ಮೃಷ್ಟಾನ್ನ ಸುಖ, ನಾಳೆ ಭಿಕ್ಷಾನ್ನ  |

ಇಂದು ಬರಿ ಉಪವಾಸ ನಾಳೆ ಪಾರಣೆ -ಯಿಂತು,

ಸಂದಿರುವುದನ್ನ ಋಣ - ಮಂಕುತಿಮ್ಮ ||

Translation :
Marriage today,funeral tomorrow 

Royal buffet today,begging tomorrow |

Fasting today, feasting tomorrow

You have the food credit - Mankutimma ||

Explanation :
You face ups and downs in your life,but neither of them is permanent. You might be enjoying a wedding of your beloved one today,but you will attend their funeral one or the other day.

You might be happy today having varieties of cuisines but you go begging food someday!! (Here, begging may not be the literal begging, it may also be from diseases like Diabetics).
You might be in fast today but you will have a great feast tomorrow!!
You get the credit according to your deeds Mankutimma.

ಎರಡು  ಕೋಣೆಗಳ  ಮಾಡು  ಮನದಾಲಯದಿ  |

ಹೊರ ಕೋಣೆಯಲಿ  ಲೋಗಾರಾಟಗಳನಾಡು||

ವಿರಮಿಸೊಬ್ಬನೆ   ಮೌನದೊಳಮನೆಯ  ಶಾಂತಿಯಲಿ |

ವರಯೋಗ ಸೂತ್ರವಿದು  – ಮಂಕುತಿಮ್ಮ  ||

Translation :

Earmark two separate rooms in mind’s abode,

Play as a common human being in outer room.

And rest alone in peace in silent inner room,

This is the supreme yogic principle Mankuttimma.

Explanation :

This is the secrete of a happy life. One must play multiple characters  in his life.

Build two separate rooms in the mind’s temple. The inner & the outer rooms.

The Outer room must be used for this materialstic life, where you are a social element. Your part is to play the role of a social element. But in the inner room, rest alone in peace which makes you stronger mentally & prepares you for the external fight.

This is the secrte behind a happy & peaceful life Mankutimma.

ಒಮ್ಮೆ ಹೂದೋಟದಲಿ, ಒಮ್ಮೆ ಕೆಳಕೂಟದಲಿ

ಒಮ್ಮೆ ಸಂಗೀತದಲಿ, ಒಮ್ಮೆ ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರದಲಿ |

ಒಮ್ಮೆ ಸಂಸಾರದಲಿ, ಮತ್ತೊಮ್ಮೆ ಮೌನದಲಿ

ಬ್ರಹ್ಮಾನುಭವಿಯಾಗು - ಮಂಕುತಿಮ್ಮ ||

Translation :

 Once in the garden, once in friends' company.

Once in music, once on tradition|
Once in family,once in silence,
Experience the bramhan - Mankutimma ||

Explanation :

Way of leading a happy and prosporous life invovles many things.

One must enjoy the beauty of nature which refreshes the mind. One should have freinds' and relatives' company and hence become social.

Enrtertainment is the inetgral part of one's life.One must take a break from their busy work and enjoy the life.

Family, the root of Materialstic world, One must have detached attachment towards it. And finally, one must travel deep into his soul in silence, leaving behind all the things which makes the man feel the ultimate happiness and peace in  life.

ಹೋರು ಧೀರತೆಯಿಂದ,ಮೊಂಡತನದಿಮ್ ಬೇಡ |

ವೈರ ಹಗೆತನ ಬೇಡ,ಹಿರಿ ನಿಯಮವಿರಲಿ ||

ವೈರಾಗ್ಯ ಕಾರುಣ್ಯ ಮೆಳನವೇ ಧೀರತನ |

ಹೊರುದಾತ್ತತೆಯಿಂದ - ಮಂಕುತಿಮ್ಮ ||

Translation :

Fight valiantly but don't be obstinate,

Have no hatred, and adhere to lofty principles.

Confluence of dispassion and compassion is courage,

Strive with Nobility - Mankutimma.

Explanation :

Fight bravely but don't be stubborn in Life.  We must fight in life but should not have pertinacious attitude.

Let there be no enmity on anyone. And have an immense discipline in life. you must have noble and exalted characters and principles.

the main cause of every problem is attachment to a particular thing. So one must have detachment in Life.

When detachment is blended together with leniency and mercy it results in splendor.

So, strive hard in Life with Nobility and dignity - Mankutimma.

Kagga 001 Straight forward way of Living Life

ಸ್ಮಿತ ವಿರಲಿ ವದನದಲಿ,ಕಿವಿಗೆ ಕೇಳದಿರಲಿ |
ಹಿತವಿರಲಿ ವಚನದಲಿ,ಋತುವ ಬಿಡದಿರಲಿ ||

ಮಿತವಿರಲಿ ಮನಸಿನುದ್ವೇಗದಲಿ ಭೋಗದಲಿ |

ಅತಿ ಬೇಡವೆಲ್ಲಿಯೂ - ಮಂಕುತಿಮ್ಮ ||

Translation  :
Let there be smile on your face,but let not the ears hear it,
Let words exude well being without foregoing righteousness.
Let the inner emotions and enjoyments be moderate,
Let there be no excess - Mankutimma

Explanation :
Keep smiling,but make sure that it is not disturbing or hurting anyone. Your smile or laughter must not be generated by teasing or hurting others.
Speak good,nice and be humble. But do not lie or hide the truth to make some one happy.
Treat your happiness and sorrows equally.Control your emotions and govern your sensual enjoyments.
Anything excess must not be accepted -- Mankutimma.
