ಒಮ್ಮೆ ಹೂದೋಟದಲಿ, ಒಮ್ಮೆ ಕೆಳಕೂಟದಲಿ

ಒಮ್ಮೆ ಸಂಗೀತದಲಿ, ಒಮ್ಮೆ ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರದಲಿ |

ಒಮ್ಮೆ ಸಂಸಾರದಲಿ, ಮತ್ತೊಮ್ಮೆ ಮೌನದಲಿ

ಬ್ರಹ್ಮಾನುಭವಿಯಾಗು - ಮಂಕುತಿಮ್ಮ ||

Translation :

 Once in the garden, once in friends' company.

Once in music, once on tradition|
Once in family,once in silence,
Experience the bramhan - Mankutimma ||

Explanation :

Way of leading a happy and prosporous life invovles many things.

One must enjoy the beauty of nature which refreshes the mind. One should have freinds' and relatives' company and hence become social.

Enrtertainment is the inetgral part of one's life.One must take a break from their busy work and enjoy the life.

Family, the root of Materialstic world, One must have detached attachment towards it. And finally, one must travel deep into his soul in silence, leaving behind all the things which makes the man feel the ultimate happiness and peace in  life.
